Works on all earless-type clamps.
Put the earless clamp around the properly positioned boot and snap the clamp by hand into the initial engaged position.
Open the pliers and insert the tips of pliers into the raised projections on the clamp and simply squeeze the pliers to snap the clamp into the locked position.
